Can bounce houses be set up on pavement or asphalt?

Grass is our preferred and recommended surface for setup, since it's easier to anchor into safely and softer if anyone tumbles near the edge of the unit. That said, pavement or asphalt setups are sometimes workable depending on the unit and the specific site.

Anchoring on a hard surface generally needs to be done differently than staking into ground β€” often with weights instead of stakes β€” so it's important to mention if your setup spot is a driveway, a parking lot or a paved area rather than grass, when you book.

Whatever the surface, it needs to be flat, clear of debris and free of anything sharp that could damage the inflatable material from underneath.
