Blue Thunder or Tropical Dual-Lane?

Both are full-size inflatable water slides with a splash landing. The choice mostly comes down to yard size and how many kids you have.

  • Blue Thunder Water Slide β€” $450/day. The more compact of the two at 25' long by 13' wide, with about 4 feet of clear space needed on each side. A good fit for most residential backyards. Weight limit 220 lbs.
  • 18' Tropical Dual-Lane Water Slide β€” $499/day. Two racing lanes side by side, palm-tree towers and a larger splash pool. Its footprint is about 35' long, and we recommend a clear area of about 40' Γ— 18' with room overhead. Best for bigger groups.

Water and power

You'll need a garden hose long enough to reach the setup spot and a standard outlet within about 50 feet for the blower. Water slides must be connected to municipal water, not a well β€” well water can leave mineral stains on the vinyl. If your property is on a well, mention it when you book and we can talk through options.

Weather

Water slides are built to get wet, so light rain is fine as long as there's no lightning. Strong wind is a different story: if it picks up, pause use until it passes.

Book early for July and August

Our water slides are among our most requested rentals once the weather warms up, and summer weekends fill first. For a Saturday or Sunday between June and August, booking 2 to 4 weeks ahead gives you the best chance β€” earlier for long weekends.

Make it a bigger party

A water slide plus a bounce house for younger kids is a popular pairing. Book both and you save 25% on the lower-priced inflatable.

Questions about water slides

How much does a water slide rental cost?
The Blue Thunder Water Slide is $450/day and the 18' Tropical Dual-Lane is $499/day. Both include delivery, setup and takedown, with no deposit required.
Do I need to supply the water?
Yes β€” a garden hose that reaches the setup spot, connected to municipal water. Well water can't be used because minerals stain the slide.
Which water slide fits a smaller backyard?
The Blue Thunder. It's 25' Γ— 13' and needs about 4 feet of clear space on each side, compared with roughly 40' Γ— 18' for the Tropical Dual-Lane.
How early should I book a water slide for summer?
For a summer weekend, 2 to 4 weeks ahead is a good rule of thumb, and a month or more around long weekends. It's always worth asking about closer dates too.
Can the water slide be used if it rains?
Light rain is fine as long as there's no lightning. Stop use in strong wind or thunderstorms.
