How much space do you need for a water slide rental?

Water slides need more room than most bounce houses, both because of their length and because they need a splash landing area at the bottom. The Blue Thunder Water Slide needs a footprint of about 25' long by 13' wide, with roughly 4 feet of clear space on each side for safe setup.

The 18' Tropical Dual-Lane Water Slide is larger — its full footprint is closer to 35' long by 13.5' wide, and we recommend a clear setup area of about 40' × 18' with adequate overhead clearance for the palm-tree towers.

Both need a flat, level area, ideally grass, along with an electrical outlet within reach and a garden hose connected to municipal water. If your yard is tight, the Blue Thunder is the easier fit of the two.
