What size bounce house do I need for my backyard?

The right size depends less on how many kids are coming and more on how much clear, level space your yard actually has. Every rental on our site lists its footprint and its recommended setup area, which includes a few feet of buffer on each side for anchoring and blower placement.

As a general guide, our smaller enclosed bounce houses like The Ultimate Playzone need about 17' × 17' of clear space. Combo units with an attached slide, like the Princess Castle or Birthday Bash, need closer to 20' × 20' to 24' × 20'. Bigger activities like the 28' Obstacle Course or the Inflatable Soccer Arena need considerably more room, in the 30' to 38' range in one direction.
